Wiseco piston installation problem

I am building a 4G 63 to stage three level and when attempting to install the pistons which are Wiseco 85 mm the piston skirt hits the piston oiler. I don’t know if they make an aftermarket piston oiler with a different offset or if I merely need to bend the oil nozzle slightly inward to clear the piston skirt. Any words of wisdom out there??

I can tell you for the Evo X 4b11 and Cosworth pistons you have to bend the oilers a specific clearance to avoid collision. I can upload the pic/info from Cosworth on piston installation if you like even though it is a different engine and different piston. My point is that it IS common to need to make such a change when installing aftermarket pistons in these machines...

Are you using 88mm or 100mm stroke crankshaft?
Tomei notch their skirts, that's an option for you too. BUT you will need to get them rebalanced.

Just delete the squirters. Plug the holes with a an M12x1.25 port plug. When you try to bend them they tend to just break.

Oil squirters

I just recently rebuilt, my 4G 63 and simply carefully bent the squirters just enough to clear piston skirt using a flat blade screw driver. They are necessary for proper piston cooling.

Did you put the pistons in the right direction because if you have them wrong the clearancing for the squirters will not be where it needs to be.
