Hello I got my 99 evo VI January of this year and this is my first “real” project car from auction in JP with only 80k miles and 100% stock and don’t have much experience , i noticed I have alittle bit of white smoke coming from the exhaust nothing crazy but a good bit and wanted a second opinion if it seems like head gasket or not if it’s normal I’ll attach a video I sent to my friend of when it looks like at idle and with a 6k rev after it’s warned up and driven around the block before this it sat for a month and started right up but I’m not 100% sure if this is a new issue or not bc it had been cold for a few months so the exhaust was making vapor (let me know if I’m just trippin and being crazy)

 

take off the downpipe and check if its oily. its possible high crankcase pressure blew the seal in the turbo

 

Do all the usual compression and leakdown tests. Be alert to coolant in radiator going down.
