BC 2.5 Stroker in 4G69

BC 2.5 Stroker in 4G69

Looking for some answers to a setup that I have not been able to find done yet. I wanted to post this here because the set up that is in question is usually for an Evo.​ Im hoping some of you who have extensive knowledge with 4g64/63/69 engines will know if this will work or how to make it work.

I have an 06 Evo 9 RS but today I am talking about my amazing daily driver 04 Lancer Ralliart with the 2.4 4g69 Mivec. I am wondering if I can run the Brian Crower 2.5 Stroker Kit in my 4g69. This is an N/A car and always will be but I'd like to try something new and build it up more down the road. Right now it has intake, header/downpipe, exhaust and an ECU reflash. But the stroker kit would be what I'd like to do next along with cams and reflash.

The BC0016 and BC0018 are made for the combo of 4g64 block and 4g63 head so I am wondering what id need to do to make it work.

You can't find any answers to your question cuz nobody does it. Just do yourself a favor keep it a 2.4 and be done with it if there's nothing wrong with it don't fix it especially if it's in a "amazing"daily driver. The minute you start messing with it and trying to get that 1 l displacement you're going to ruin such driver. The point one displacement isn't going to do you any good for anything. If you had a non turbo 2 l and we're going to go a BC 2.4 that would make way more sense and you would get a lot more gains. But the point one you're searching for isn't going to do you crap. Save your money for better upgrade

Yeah I initially thought they still made a 2.6 and wanted to try and do that but then saw it's a 2.5 and got feedback on Instagram from my Evo friends that it's not worth it. I wanted to delete this post 😅 thank you for the honest replies.

Honestly I was afraid I was coming off as a jerk after i posted it. That was not the case I was trying to be as honest as I can be about it
