Not a lot of experience here, attempting to put on the Megan Racing 02 housing and I had a few downpipes laying around and neither of them seem to fit properly. The doughnut gasket sticks out a noticeable amount. Am i missing something or just installing it incorrectly in some way? Thanks for any input

 

Thats correct, the doughnut gasket is designed to take up that negative space between the 02/DP

 

Yea donut gasket looks fine. I would be more concerned about those bolts. Does the OEM hardware not work with this downpipe? My tanabe downpipe reuses the OEM spring bolts.
