My friend has STI. Our stock STI has 265hp.
His mods: 3 Turbo-Back, Intake,Blitz EBC set to 1.5-1.8kg.
And i think something else...
Can he beat me? I`m afraid.

Which max boost can i set?And what can i do to beat him freely?
How do you think ,what is my HP and 1/4mile time?

In 2 days we`ll race on 1/4 mile.

i believe you should win...

 

If you are running correctly and decently tuned, you should waltz all over him.

 

If you lose you can not drive, it is hard to hear but it will be true.

 

You don't even need to launch and walk the STI. IMO.
I think the STI is going to blow the motor with that much boost.

you should definitely win with your mods even un-tuned
if tuned right you should beathim by atleast 4 cars.

i'm guessing your rev limit has been raised since you have upgraded springs and retainers and running AEM EMS ( hope your tuned ) 8500 or beyond?

on pump gas 93-94 octane no more than 22psi----360-380whp
race gas 25-26psi should get you over 400whp easy.

 

If you dont walk all over him, I really dont know what to make out of the situation. With all that mods, you can launch aggressively and I predict that you should start pulling on him by 2nd. Going to 3rd and 4th will be an embarrasement for him. You will win, I'm betting 10 bucks on this. Any sti owners wanted to challenge me?

 

how 'bout this....if you don't win...don't come home and take that evo badge off ur car... =) hehe..jk...g'luck...u should be able to pull ahead quite easily. with ur car tuned correcly...a low 12 or high 11 shouldn't be a problem

you should win but like Zeus said the tuning part is very important, oh and you should run 20-21psi i think that's like 137-139kpa

i hope he knows that sti have boost creep and cant flow over 16 psi

 

I hate these "can I win threads". Its all speculation and it depends so much on the driver its stupid.

You should ask "Can your CAR win" and in that case sure, it looks like you have more mods. But can you win I'm not sure cuz I don't know how you drive.
