I am going to be purchasing a 75 shot tank of NOS with the purge valve kit so I can have my EVO "shoot off some steam". I was wondering do any of you that do have NOS in your EVO do u have it hooked up to the engine? I was just hesitant of doing that because of the turbo charger, I figured that if you added NOS in it would redline quick and make it real easy to blow your engine. Or do you just use it in 5th gear?

 

don't do it it blew my engine in 1 try 75 shot, the car will handle 35 with no problem caost me 4,000 to fix timing is the key and the ecu on the evo suck

 

speack to a suplier that has fitted it to an Evo. there are many people that have it fitted to Evo with no problems. id say go for a smaller amount (say 50). it will help no end with spool-up hehe!
