Installed Clutch Masters Stage 4 Ceramic

I installed my new clutch this weekend. What a freakin job. Especially when you don't have a shop manual and have to just figure it all out by trial and error. Anyway, I'll suggest to anyone that is thinking about attempting to do theirs themselves, it's probably worth the 400-500 to let someone else that's already done them do it. This 4 puck ceramic is very very grabby. It take a little getting used to to drive it. I almost feel like something is wrong its so grabby. I guess that's how they are so I'll deal with it and hope it works for me. I'm still just being easy on it fro the 500 mile break in that they suggest.
Anyone else out there done a ceramic that can tell me what they think. Thanks.

Again, pay the money and save the time and hassle. Unless you just want a long tiring wrestling match of a learning experience, then go for it.

I had a 4 puck CM ceramic clutch in my Eclipse. It was very grabby, and not very easy to modulate. On the upside though, I made literally dozens and dozens of passes at the dragstrip with it. I was pushing 360 fwhp and it never, ever slipped. It's a bit uncivilized for a daily driver though, IMO.

I had the CM stage 4 in my civic. To be honest, it had a very very streetable feel. Don't get me wrong, it was grabby, very grabby... but the pedal feel was so nice. The best part was never felt it chatter.

It feels like it grabs kind of jerky sometime when i am taking off. Not any noise like it's chattering but just jumpy or something. I'm not sure if it's just because I only have 100 miles on it or what. The pedal feel is great. I think I'll like it, I just hope it'll hold.

That Clutch will likely hold unlike the Stage 3 I got but will the transfer case, differentials etc hold. Good luck and be conservative on those launches.
