Why would Mitsu recall them? According to official MMCA stance, there is nothing wrong with it and if you break it it's because you did something untoward to it.

 

That is total bull. I have a stock car and mine is screwed. I have never droped the clutch or anything like that and I only have 13000 miles. So there is something wrong with some of them.

 

BUILD IT

 

I will buy an aftermarket transfer case if built. Already replaced the clutch and now looking for a rabbit's foot to hang on my mirror to prolong the life of my transfer case. Really wouldn't want to put OEM back in there.

I'd buy it. Mine only has about 1100 miles on it and it's been leaking since 400. It's been in and out of the shop every day for the last 8 days. I've been nothing but gentle with it. "Nothing wrong with it" my a**. Stupid

I would love to have a "bulletproof" transfer case and I would even MORE so love to bang the gears like a motorcyle tranny (dog gears)! Yes I would love that. Would the dog gears enable motorcycle like shifting where you don't need the clutch? That would be great.

I think they were talking about rebuilding the TC along adding the qauife differential.
Turbo Trix needs to post what they think pricing would be on this.

 

I am in too, since I plan on hitting 11's sometime and I would want something stronger than stock!!!
