Yeah, it'd definitely be nice. I think after I'm done with the car, the only weak link would be the dreaded transfer case.

Quaife will not be making the TC gears for the Evo. They have a direct bolt-on LSD.

I doubt Mitsu will be doing any sort of recall since they are under the gun now financially. Plus it would be horrible press to have a recall of this size for their top-end sports sedan...not good PR at all. Investors would just leave at a quicker rate than they are now.

i've dealt with how mitsu handles recalls on tc's with vr4/stealth everyone would be better off with a stronger after market solution.

Definitely!!
I hit 11000 miles and never once had I launched the car. Just drove it normal.
My Transfer case bearings were going, mitsubishi replaced the Transfer case but only after a little bit of a hassle.
I'm curious as to how much a upgraded Transfer case would run. And what exactly would you be upgrading in it? Stronger parts? or just Better alignment?
