Slap a set of cams in there.

I honestly think your cams are limiting you pretty bad.

See what you can do with your timing as well.

Just wait til you're all set up and tuned. That turbo will make your neck snap in half.

The first thing you need to do is get the Apex-i power FC adjusted correctly. Send a PM to SILVER SURFER he may be able to help.

Silver Surfer is the man when it comes to the Power FC, but he's in Texas and I'm in Michigan

It hits pretty hard now, I can't wait till I get some more torque.

I'm going to the track this weekend to get some numbers to see what I can do with this setup. Then I'll install some cams/cam gears and go again to see how much they help. I'm sure they will help out depending which cams I go with. I shooting for one of the piper sets. Any other ideas on which cams I should try?

Yor numbers are low because you don't have proper engine management.

Proper engine management?? He's running the Apexi PowerFC ?? If anything, it's not tuned properly, but the PFC is one hell of a unit.

Yes, it's a stand-alone unit, it's just tuned very conservatively. You need to get someone who really knows how to tune the PFC and get a good a/f, but more importantly a good timing map. Its unfortunate that they won't give you the full tools to tune all the functions, and that's putting it lightly.

This is not "hating," if it was my setup I would be upset also.

I'm not really upset about the numbers, and I appreciate the criticism
The car still F'en pulls like hell, and it is still in a preliminary stage so I'm not too upset. What gets my turbo spooling is the fact that Apexi are such tight asses with their software. I was hesitant to purchase it in the first place because of this issue but was assured it wouldn't be a problem... I didn't want the AEM because at the time people were complaining about ignition, cold start, yada, yada. So now I'm in a rock and a hard place unless I pay for a tuner from XS engineering $400 an hour to come and get it right. It might be worth it though. What do you guys think? Or does anybody know someone who is good with the PFC?

Those guys are so good with power fc, they'll get it right 2 hours max on provided they're dyno tuning. And $400 a hour doesn't sound right, they normally say it's about $500 to tune it right.....but time wise, they're good with the power fc so it takes them very little time.

400 hr. is WAY too steep. I paid 750 to get an EMS installed (for a civic), dynoed and tuned - all total probably 5 hours of work. That was too expensive in my opinion, and I have been quoted 75 hr. from Buschur for my Evo. I'm going to save the cash and tune it myself. Keep in mind, you could sell your PFC, buy an AEM with the UEGO built-in and tune it yourself. And, as WadZii has in his signature, if they are having cold-start or idle problems with the AEM, they don't know what they're doing (and all the ignition problems have been sorted out in the early boxes).

At the same time he installed a ATS triple plate carbon clutch, Apexi Power FC (D-Jetro), Greddy 740cc injectors, fuel pimp, small battery kit, custom IC pipin

i cant beleive no one saw this........it's so obvious too......

the problem is that you have a fuel pimp.....you should remove it immediately and install a fuel pump

With the current gas prices, I'm considering getting a feul pimp. He may be a little shadey, but if it saves me some off the $1.92 I paid today......
