Yes?
No?

Does an S-AFC actually help with a vent-to-atmosphere blow-off-valve in making the car not stall between shifts?

No. Don't VTA. Too much sacrifice in drivability unless you don't care about that.

It does not have control of the idle unlike the HKS-AFR unit. So running vta with a s-afc will sacrifice alot of drivabilty in a hard way.

Plain and simple no it doesn't. SAFC can't control it on a MAF/Karmen car.

S-afc can control the karmen signals, it cannot control the MAF sensor though..

the S-AFC DOES control the MAS sensor..thats exactly what it controls, and thats it, and it cannot compensate for VTA

I VTA for month with the Safc and only had minor idle issues for the first two weeks. After that all was well.

HKS has a new product called the EIDS.
It will correct the erratic idle so that you can vta.
Retail is around 125. Not bad. But it's a lot of $$ to pay for noise....

Cheers,

the best possible way to do it is like someone stated earlier, get the MAF blowthrough system, you can VTA and have 500whp using the STOCK ecu

No.

The HKS afr is an Air Fuel Ratio device. However it alters your mixture based on RPM levels. It will not "regulate" the stumble cause by VTA. You will still need the EIDS or similar device.

HKS products can be puchased anywhere. Try online at www.hksusa.com and search for local dealers near you. Please note....I called around looking for the EIDS and my local shop did not know what I was talking about. So don't be suprised if they give you some funny looks.
