Max lift really only concerns ptv issues and coilbind. It is the ramp rate that dictates how stiff the valvesprings need to be and thus has a much more direct effect on what rpm valve float occurs. There is no way to tell what the ramp rates are for a cam just by looking at the advertised duration numbers and max lift. Since there are 4G63s revving to 9 grand with the Jun cams I really doubt valve float is a concern with the proper valvetrain components.
