My turbo is dying.......

i changed out my intake to the HKS suction kit yesterday and to my disbelief, i found that all of the fins on the wheel were crimped at the edge of the fins and very rough liek rubbed with a rock, i think shes doen and ive solved my problems to my power loss recently, i shoud sue auto meter cause they sold me a faulty guage....

20,000 ill take pic swhen i go to Pruven in 2 weeks when they do the cams, i think ill have to do the buschur turbo know...oh well!!!!

That's what I was wondering...

If your turbine is chewed up, it sounds as if you either injested something or had a bearing/bushing failure. How's the shaft play?

Usually if you suck a small rock or pebble into the compressor, the turbo ports itself. Can you get a shot of the volute Kevin?

Man sorry to hear your turbo is history. Anything in your filter housing you changed out for the HKS ??

im buying the buschur turbo and doing that with my cams, feul pump, head studs next month with my reflash from Al at Pruven......he said he thinks its from overboosting when i had a faulty Auto Meter boost guage in my car that was reading 22 psi then when i put a new boost guage on it read 28 PSI, anyway by geting rid of the problem will be fixing it and turning it into an 11 sec machine in the procces as well..thanks gor the help, when i get pics up ill post em

Overboosting shouldn't tear up your fins like that...
