EVO VIII vs SL600

Today raced on highway with SL600(1999-2000year)
I had no chanses! He ****ed me and from start and on any speed!
I had`t any chance!
Mods: TB B&B , POWER FC(stock settings),ATS TWIN CLUTCH, AVC-R (19psiMAX because i`m affraid),Walbro fuel pump.
When i turn off AVC-R my boost is 12psi
What do you think about it?

Evo is a weak car ! It`s a fact!
Over and out

For the price of that SL600 you could have an evo like the Norris Evo 7 (and that car can spin all four of its tires from a highway roll in 3rd gear)

Point is, for the money, there's nothing like an Evolution

The Evo is not a week car. I think you need to stop being afraid and but that boost to a higher setting. The SL600 isnt a little bucket, no power car your racing. Just cause you got smoked doesnt mean you have to look at your ride like its slow. The stock cams from what i understand fall on thier face at higher speeds due to the emision stardards set on them. Get a reflash or and cam gears, or cams and i think youll think different. Just my $.02.

his boost behavior is normal, seems that he can control boost with avc-r and won't go higher than 19psi, with the boost controller off, it's normal to have 11-12 pounds of boost.

Of course you had no chance against an SL600. Those things pull like beasts on the highway. The new SL600 is faster than a figgin' McLaren SLR!!!! 0-60 in 3.6 versus 3.8 for the SLR!!!!!
P.S.-Where in Ukraine are you located? Kiev? Odessa? Just wondering since that's where I'm from .

I used to have a '93 SL600, sold it years before got an EVO. For such a heavy car (~ 5500lbs) 600 is pretty quick and can easily take on a stock EVO but won't ever stand a chance against a reasonably modded one (talking abount 320-330 whp). BTW SL500's are even faster and much lighter, particularly '89-92 ones.
vot takie pirogi...

chill out man, I didn't notice it's old.
My cousin just bought an older SL500, I used to own an SL too, so was searching for evo vs sl600/sl500 encounters just out of curiosity, this one came up
older R129 SL is a unique hand built piece of machinery to have (if you can fix it by yourself , I'll probaby get one again next year to replace an S2000 for top down cruising.

what would you say about an E500 (2004) vs. a stock EVO (2004)?
