Yes! follow the clutch all the way up to where it meets the clutch master cylinder. U will see the pushrod and a locking nut. 12mm. loosen the locking nut an turn the rod and make the pedal closer to the floor. turn a lil at a time, drive it and readjust as needed.

yeah, follow the clutch pedal up. kinda tight. need flashlight too. Trust me, not hard at all. don't be too greedy and adjust to 2" of travel for you will grind gears when you try to shift too fast.

do you see the rod? there is a locking nut on it rite. you are on the right track, but i think that you are confused with the direction of the nut to remove!

the nut that you have to loosen is on the rod itself. not the one with the cotter pin. further down past the cotter pin tingi, you will see the nut on the rod. if you put an open end wrench on it, you will have to push it towards the outside of the car, not towards the middle of the car.

Sorry but that will only adjust the free play on the clutch. The engagement point will remain the same. I don't think you can adjust the clutch to engage lower then it is.

It does GOKU! try it, you'll be amazed! You have to do it right, loosen the locking nut. You didn't make any changes at all Exhaust note. you did it wrong.

Once you loosen the locking nut on the pushrod, pinch the pushrod like you are using a Q-tip and then turn it, bring the pedal closer to the floor. Don't forget to tighten the locking nut.

Assuming you are right. Are you adjusting from inside or outside of the car? Will this screw with the alignment of the syncros causing you to grind during shifts?

You are adjusting from within the car. it simply reduces the pedal travel of the clutch pedal. this in turn will allow the clutch to catch sooner as you release the clutch. It has nothing to do with synchros. The grinding is simply due to insufficient clutch release due to over adjustment. Meaning too close to the floor.
