Any bets?
My car has equivalent mods except AEM EMS vs UTEC and the cams are 264-264. My car dynoed 259.5 hp on the dyno at Dyno4mance on May 15th. You are saying that you expect 215 hp more than I got? Hmmmm....... That's 83% more power than I put down. I think that might be a little optimistic, but good luck anyway

it really depends on what level of boost you are running and the fuel you use.

On 93 octane and 21psi I would say 400 maybe...425?

Maybe, but my car was running 24 psi on 93 octane and got 259.5 hp........

HKS RS intake
HKS 264/264 cmas
HKS cam gears
Greddy I.C.
Walbro pump
Perrin fuel rail
Blitz 680 cc injectors
AEM EMS
3" turbo back w/test pipe
Tuned by Boost Solutions

SilverEVO8, I would love to see the logs of that dyno run. Because you got ripped the heck off! Just how fat was the fuel trim, did they give you any timing at all? There are many guys out there making that much power with just a catback and boost and AFC. Are you sure they tuned it or DEtuned it? I am not busting your ballls but damn I think you got screwed!

in cases like this, it's too hard to tell because there is entirely too many factors....problems could go from tuning to hardware problems like pressure loss from cylinders, bad turbo, something is blocked up in airflow blah blah blah blah. The list goes on and on. Or it could even be a weird dyno run where things aren't hooked up right, you never know.

You can see an overlay of that dyno sheet over a couple of others in the second post (I think ) of this https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...963#post996963

Good god I can not wait to move to GA in 06! I will hook all you guys up then. The Air/ fule is all kinds of jacked up! With a AEM you can tune that thing to have a very nice smooth line from start to finish. Just how much timing is in that thing. Timing is every thing. On my GSX for every degree of timing added we would get 10 -15 whp this was at 26 psi though and on a hlatech. But anyways keep on tuning!
Sorry I kinda Jack this thread! Sorry!!!!

You are right, I did not really coinsider that turbo. But in reality, it would not make enough difference to make up 210+HP....... I could see maybe a 10% or even 20% gain (that's a stretch), but not 80%+ increase........

Sorry I kinda Jack this thread! Sorry!!!!
The timing maps look fairly conservative, but I really don't know much about tuning. I did not tune the car. There might have been some reason why the timing and fuel maps were written as they are, but I could not tell you the how or why. Perhaps if I get another tuner to look at the car, the situation would change for the better.......

That's fantastic! I'm glad to hear thatthose numbers are possible. I guess my car is just screwed up big time Good news is that I should be up there in the high 300 to low 400 hp too if I get the car properly tuned.

I was thinking w/ a T frickin 67 420whp would be achieved at like 17lbs of boost. Isn't that turbo supposed to be a monster. I would have expected 500whp, not 420whp.
