manufactured date vs. car problems

I am interested in anyone who has had major engine, drivetrain, clutch problems with there evos. i am trying to corralate the manufacture dates to the problems to discover a pattern, this info could be very usefull for those involved with class action law suits, etc.. it will also serve as a tool for newer owners, who will be able to look at their manufacture date and compare it with the problems associated with other evos built at the same time as theirs, and keep an eye on those parts for early wear and tear.

the date can be found by opening the driver side door and looking under the door frame, in between the front and back doors, not where the tire pressure info is, look lower.

my evo was built in FEB 2003 in JAPAN, i have experienced no major service issues as of yet and am at 16,000 miles.

moderator: if there is an existing thread on this topic, i could not find it, so i apoligize if there is, i think this is a very important topic, that could be useful to many evo owners.

Antilock should be "lighter" in comparison to other cars' braking systems. The EVO has a "sport" ABS system, which basically means it will not kick in until absolutely necessary....

This is a common complaint, and not just with this Mitsu model. Try lowering your RPMs or slowing down your shift to see if that makes a difference...
