boost controller help please

i just installed a manual boost controller... (turboxs hp), anyway, i was reading an install on here and however stupid it sounded it said to disconnect the line from the wastegate to the turbo and run that to the boost controller...ok, makes sense, then it said to cap the line to the turbo cause it was no longer needed and then run a line to the line that runs into the intake manifold/blow off valve with a t connector.... please help me here..... with everything else i read, it said that i should run from the waste gate out to the boost controller then back into the turbo...which makes sense to me...please help as my EVO is now garaged until i get this fixed.... thanks in advance

hey dude try this its much simpler, run the line from the the compressor housing to the nipple marked in or inlet on the boost controllerwhich i think is on the bottom of the boost controller,

then run the output which i believe is on the side of the boost controller housing
to the wastegate actuator
you can remove the old lines then adjust the BC to your desired boost, start low and work you way up..hope this helps

thanks man, i was just ahead of you, i ran my line from the wastegate to the BC then to the turbo nipple...yes i said nipple , anyway, check engine light goes away but it seems so far after about 5 runs that nomatter what i do to adjust i peak at 25 and then sit around 20, i need to drop that way down, i dont want to be higher than 20 although 25 feels nice, but not good i wouldnt think. ANYONE HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THE TURBOXS HP MBC ? ... to cut the boost down, like way down which way do you turn the main adjust, not the fine tune... please advise ... thanks again for the posts

you need to close the fine tune adjustment all the way then give it 2 turns open only.......then close the coarse adjustment all the way then begin to open till its as close as possible to desired boost level...and fine tunning is done with the fine adjustment.......the thing is you need the coarse adjusment to be the one that is open the most because its a bleed valve and will hold the boost better......i had the same problem but now its drops from 22psi to 21 psi.....so im happy......

by the way i have my bc connected to the vac off my bov.......whats the deal should it be to the nipple.....ive been confused about this since the begining of time....
