Walbro 255 Pumps, difference between HP and LPH??

I was looking at the walbro 255 fuel pumps and noticed a site that has 2 models of them for the evo viii and exactly the same price. One says its an HP (high pressure) and the other just says its an LPH, is their any difference??

one is a high output the other a standard... both work well to support more power but the 342 has a higher output at full voltage than the other.

All depends on what your looking for. For cars with a dual signal voltage i'd recommend the 342 always. Our cars(lancers/evos) have that system.

Check this out:
http://www.roadraceengineering.com/f...pflowrates.htm

Here you'll see the differences between the two walbro 255's. Note that the 342 kicks out more LPH at both the low and high vold ranges. Pressure is essencially the same but supply/flow is greater with the 342.

the higher pressure one is used when running excessive fuel pressure.
