Help, oil leak..but where?

I was changing my oil today and I saw some oil stain around the exhaust manifold. Its not leaking from the valve cover, its leaking around the exhaust manifold. Any idea where is that oil coming from? The car is running fine, I check my oil every now and then, never had to add any.

on the driver's side? or what? the onlything near the manifold dealing with oil would be the oil feedline...hard to tell without more details

It seems like its leaking from around the top of the manifold. Is it possible for oil to leak out from the exhaust ports?

have you received an ecu flash? you may be running so pig rich that oil is gushing out of the exhaust hehe... when you wipe it on a rag, is the oil black or more yellowish? if its more yellowish its probably just leftover oil residue... from unburnt gas.. if its black, its engine oil...

my suggestion if its yellow is to get an ecu flash or an oil catch can... if its black and its near the exhaust manifold.. thats just plain weird :P

I just took off the exhaust manifold and the oil is dark black on top of the manifold. There's also some oil on one of the oil line to the turbo. However, I didn't see any oil leak when I revved the car tho.

wait isnt the exhaust manifold bolted onto the O2 housing which is screwd onto the downpipe.. etc... i never actually removed the manifold but thought it takes some work then simply popping it off.... anywayz...

i would consider having a deal check it out if its dark black oil.....

check the line coming off the top of the valve cover

check and see if it connects the manifold to the intake pipe

hmm thought thats an electric line... i'd just make sure the piece on the shield thats holding it isnt pinching the line too hard anywayz... but it wouldnt make sense for that line to be an oil line and be pinched by the holding piece nor would it make sense to expose the oil line to extreme heat of the manifold...
