I'm going with ACT. I think Turbotrix uses the street pressure plate in their 9 second car. It should be good enough for me.

I called Clutch Masters and talked to the tech and asked him to give me some people to call that had the clutch in their car for a while. I made several phone calls and talked to probably 4 or 5 experienced people ( shops with Evo's ). I was quite hesitant to try the Clutch Masters because I had not heard of people using them with any kind of good Hp numbers. I was guaranteed that it would hold for a long time. I was also told by several people that the only clutch that I could be confident in holding in my power range was the twin disc Exedy. I didn't really want to spend that much, nor did I think I needed to for a clutch that would work. I was interested in the stage 4 ceramic 4 puck(Clutch Masters). I went ahead and bought it. I have now put 3500 miles on the car and it is still going strong. VERY grabby, somewhat annoying when everyday driving but I'm OK with it knowing that it's like that for a purpose. I have been to the track one time with this car and my first pass ever and with this clutch was a 1.66 60 ft. I would say thats pretty good. That was with the first time jitters and not knowing what the hell to do. It is very reasonably priced also. I got set up as a dealer to purchase a few of these through my shop so if someone is interested I can give them a deal.

P.S. There are more of the Clutch Masters clutches out there than we all know about, they are just not all being called by this name

I'm using the ACT with the street disk and I like it. Picked it up for only $430 too!

Call Doug at Boost Solutions and ask him about his exedy single disk clutch. it will not hold up to the power that the car makes. so I would get the twin disk.

I just had an ACT Street Disc Clutch installed on my evo and so far so good!! But do you really have to break it in for 500 miles. I hate driving an EVO like I'm 100 years old!!
