[EDITED. NO NAME CALLING] he said he thinks boost came in at 3500, obviously hes happy because his friends car made 606 WHP, not 605 like u posted. im sure the guy has dyno slips (probably pretty obvious question), and a ****load of mods done. y dont u reserve judgment till u see or hear what the dude has instead of calling him a liar?

Hey moron, don't try and flame me, I sell turbos for a living. I know what sized compressor wheel will make 605HP, and I know that a turbo that big will not make full boost or start to make good boost at that RPM. I'm not calling anyone a liar, I'm just saying that there is no way that this car makes that HP at that RPMs. More than likely the HP/torque curve starts at 3500 RPMs. You act like i called your mom a dirty hooker or something.

He will have the car back here in Cincinnati tomorrow afternoon and will be bringing it to the cruise in up at D&B in Tri County tomorrow night. I do not remember all the work that was done and feel that he should be the one to tell everyone, but I just had to at least post his HP numbers. I believe that is now the tops in the country.... Oh and I think spool is around 3500 rpms.... unbelievable....

I am sure that Chris will respond to this or even start his own thread when he gets back tomorrow.... so for now that's all the info....

Congrats Chris!!!!!

For real....605 OR 606 WHP is pretty damn impressive, man. Just tell your friend to make sure and take off all the aftermarket parts before he takes it in for a warranty issue

Guys,

Chris is still in Chicago picking up his car this AM (7/10). He will be back in Cincinnati this afternoon and will post all his mods and his dyno sheets.

As for the full boost coming on at that low an RPM.... I said "I think" I have not seen the Dyno sheets myself yet as it was just done yesterday and he is still in Chicago. However he had Head work done and everything and he was supposed to get full boost close to stock. Their guess was 3500 that is what I was going on. We will know for sure soon.

I also recall him saying that he is running a conserative 26psi of boost... and that the ignition system could not keep up so he is going to replace that next. This was also done on a race gas/pump gas mix. So add some full 110 octane gas in there and those numbers should be higher. This was also done on an AWD dyno...not sure which one....

I will get to see the car this evening and will get more details...maybe even some pictures...apparently he had them put on a carbon fiber hood as well....

later,
-Doug
