I have the GReddy Ti catback mated up to an Invidia Dp and Cat-delete pipe. It matches up very well and I saw great gains from it. The Invidia is a full 3" dp too and it is crafted amazingly too.

LOL- well that's good.

I read on one of the searches I did about the diff. between the 2.5 and 3 in. It seems like the general concensus is that the 3" will yield more power with a bigger turbo and more extensive mods, but the 2.5 is better for the stock turbo. I also read that the 2.75 is a good compromise between the two, but unfortunately they are ironically hard to find. SO I guess I have some thinking to do. I think I will go 3" just in case I decide to get a bigger turbo, and I am certian I plan on cams etc. Still, HKS makes high quality shiz, might be better anyway....

Edit:
Monkey- Thanks bro- sorry I missed your reply. I noticed that alot of people were using the Invidia stuff and seemed to be happy with it. I am leaning heavily towards an HKS DP, Helix DP, and Greddy ti catback assuming everything fits up to the stock cat and to each other.

Has anyone had any issues with fitment- especially with the greddy ti being to short for the car, or with the listed items not mating to the stock cat?

Thanks for your patience- this is my first real car so it's a learning experience .

Ya I have heard that sometimes it is necessary to add a length of pipe to make it longer. I don't think it's THAT short though. You may just want to add a bumper guard to keep it from damaging the bumper. Anyone have any personal experience with this?

I have the Tanabe DP...2.75". Perfect install, I like it and it was under 250$(z1 auto). You may want to try that, it also has a bung for and egt probe.

Yes, it is about 2" too short. Just get a heat shield from lancershop.com and then you don't have the residue on the rear bumper. W/o the heat shield, I was getting black deposits (i have a test pipe so I had more than w/ a cat)

I don't know about 2 inches. Do you want the muffler canister right up against the bumper burning it up?? As far as exhaust reside ?? Hasn't been a problem for me yet but I don't have a cat delete.

Mine sits sunken in just a tad. when I had the cat delete, I was getting carbon deposits on the back bumper. Still love the exhaust and wouldnt trade it, just pick up a heat shield if you're running cat-less.

Actually I don't mind if the tip falls short of the bumper. The stock one does the same thing. I prefer stock-looking.

The Greddy Ti is 80mm (3.150" diameter) and ends about 3/4" short of the end of the bumper. I've been thinking about machining up a spacer that would fit between the front and rear sections where the gasket is.

If it was about .750" thick, it would put the end of the tip flush with the edge of the bumper. The cool thing is that the rear hanger has almost an inch of material that is sticking through the rubber hanger so you could use the spacer and still have plenty of engagement on the hanger.
