NX intercooler chiller, any input?
Anyone see this intercooler kit by NX that is sold on Lancershop.com? It is under accessories.
"The gas sprays directly on your intercooler to lower the intercooler temp to well below freezing (we suggest CO2 Gas). The result is a tremendous drop in intake temperatures. Dyno tests have seen increases of over 50+ horsepower!
Allows you to cool of your Intercooler in between races, to allow for a more efficient setup and increasing HP. Kit includes: intercooler sprayer bar, all necessary hoses and fittings, switch, and wiring kit. Choose what size bottle, below. Fits all Front Mount Intercooler Kits"
Just wondering if anyone believes if it is worth getting. Input from any of the major tuners out there would be appreciated. This would be nice to have this during those 90+ degree days. I would love to swap out the stock sprayer for this, unless the claims are just B.S. Thank you.

What a search would show you,
- It DOES significantly lower intake charge temp
- Some have seen 40+WHP gains from a nitrous sprayer
- Most people don't think this number is ENTIRELY accurate because N20 may be ingested by the cars intake as well, causing HP gains
In conclusion yes it works, ANYTHING that lowers charge temps will add power. But those with aftermarket intakes should be wary.
I have used a CO2 sprayer on my SMIC on my MSP for several months and it is very noticable when I spray. It all but elimiantes heat soak I was seeing after multiple runs. Car runs a touch leaner according to the Wideband and I gained 11 WHP on a Dynojet from one run to the next. N20 on an EVO with a FMIC should show larger gains.
