Do the Tomei 260/260 pro-cams idle smooth??

Do the Tomei 260/260 pro-cams idle smooth??

i was thinking about the pro-cams. I need to know if they idle smooth. I think they are 260/260. I know i need springs, but cam gears as well??? Thanks. ray

are this the ones with 11.5mm lift ?
i have heard them on the Toda car and no the idle is not smooth . They sound amazing doh

Yes, the Pro 260's has 11.5mm lift, I have them but not yet installed so I cannot comment on the idle. I also got Tomeis adjustable cam gears and the new design is at least beautiful to look at if nothing else

yes they idle smooth and yes you need the springs .. and no you don't need cam gears as they have the same profile as the stock cams except for the higher lift

Cam gears get a gain on the stock cam, so they will still help out on the Tomeis unless the timing has been changed as well.

I have them and they idle smoothly. I also have cam gears, but I haven't tried to change the settings yet to test for HP gains.
