car stalling

my car tries to stall on me everytime i let off the throttle and engage the clutch at low rpm. especially reversing, stop and go traffic, and drive-thru lines. idles fine though. my mods are 3" turbo back with catco cat, 1g crushed bov, dejon tool intake with cone filter, and safcII. i've tried adding fuel and even taking it away on low throttle at low rpm and nothing works. any suggestions? jason

try checking your BOV and make sure your intake is installed correctly and your MAF sensor is in all the way, your maf is hooked up correctly.

MAF question that may be a contributing factor - Does it make a difference if you have the box on the MAF pointing up or on it's side? I turned the MAF 90 degrees to fit better. Would that cause irratic idle?

Could be your intake throwing off your MAF sensors. Take your intake off and put back the stock box see if that would help. I've heard alot of problems that guys were having with the intakes they have on the car throwing off the MAF sensors .

^^ yes.

if you threw away the stock airbox, your next mod should be an engine management system that is MAP only.

i've got the bov mounted on top of my intercooler pipe. i installed custom pipes about a week ago, but had this problem before that. i've still got the stock airbox so i'll try it out this weekend. keep you posted. jason
