Installing Greddy Oil Block

I'm getting ready to install a Greddy Oil Block for my Defi oil pressure gauge. The instructions are in Japenese. For anyone that has used one of these blocks, do you use any sealent on the unused taps of the block? Also, how much torque do I apply to the bolt to hold the block in place?

I've tried searching and didn't find anything about this.

Thanks.

I hand tightened mine with the correct adapter that comes in the kit. Be sure to use the right gasket. All you have to do is get under the car and do a test fitting to see which one to use (I think its the inner groove, but not positive). You want to use the longer of the two center 'bolt' adapters. I wrenched mine pretty tight, but did not do any specific torque'ing...just nice and snug.

The taps I used teflon tape on all of them, and wrenched those down pretty tight as well. It is a pretty easy install...as I do not consider myself a mechanic

Thanks for the reply. I will use the teflon tape on the taps. I just wasn't sure if teflon tape was oil safe.
