You are thinking of SRS, that's the acronym for the airbags.

SES = Service Engine Soon

SRS = Supplemental Restraint System

ZeroFrost, you may want to remove your K&N Typhoon intake. I've heard that intake causes nothing but problems on EVOs. Read this thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=84166

Your mod list is VERY close to mine with the exception of the Intake. I have a K&N Drop-in instead, and I do not get a fuel cut or hard studder like you described. I am running 20 pounds of boost on the stock fuel pump with a TurboXS MBC.

I've also thrown the p0300 code, twice. I did not experience any fuel cut or hard studder when it happened.

I tell you what. I have the KN typhoon intake and when I initially put it on, it comes really oiled. Under boost excess oil gets on the MAF sensor. All I did was clean it with rubbing alcohol and it works great. Before I cleaned it, it did run crappy. It would stutter at high RPMs. There is a lot of air that it takes in because before my car was dyno flashed, the A/F ratios throughout the entire power band in all gears were lean (stock ecu). I was shocked that when i heard that the cars run rich I would have seen a nice balance. In my opinion, its a great filter, the MAF sensor just needs to be cleaned and the ECU tuned.

^^ VERY carfully!! It will break very easy. Try some light alcohol on a soft cotton swab and clean it VERY VERY gently.

Good luck!

BTW, with those mods and a flash (I have Dynoflash and love it!) you'll be near or just under 300 HP. That's about a 50 - 60 HP gain from stock; just like your freind.

You will have to take the filter off and just the stock portion of the intake thats attached to the inlet pipe. You'll need to wrench on the bolt that holds the carbon fiber down to the chassis. Loosen the ring and remove the filter. Loosen the ring that holds the MAF to the inlet. Pull it out and either spray rubbing alcohol onto the sensor or pour it on it. Either way as long as alcohol is on it, it will break up the oil and gently take a q-tip and wipe it thoroughly and repeat a couple times to ensure its clean.

Not that I am aware of, in fact I was told to do this by quite a few people. It works. I'm not saying to use like 100 proof. Just some type of medics rubbing alcohol.

Well let me know if that corrects your problem because you may still need to clean the sensor if there is oil on it.

As far as dyno #'s, it depends on what type you use, but I put down around 300WHP and 325WTQ on a Dynapak (and later 290whp on a Mustang dyno) with similar mods from Buschur + custom Dynoflash. Essentially what you have equates to Buschur's Stage 1 (minus the SAFC - which you don't really need with the flash, unless you want to fine-tune stuff at the track...). I am running the high-flow cat, though... not the test pipe.
