Well, I finally did it today, I had the exhaust reducer on the cat side of my exhaust removed. I recently installed a 3" Helix DP and a 3" UR cat. The fact that the reducer was there bothered the crap out of me. I really wanted a full 3" turbo back (or technically 02housing back for those critical people.)


I don't really feel any performance enhancements on the butt dyno and the exhaust doesn't sound any louder than before, but perhaps something will be noticed with my 3" UR test pipe. Dyno sheets to come, just waiting for the new local dynojet to open.


I'll admit, it's not the most gorgeous exhaust work ever, but I was going for functionality, not looks. Besides, the only people who have to look at it are me and the guys at the dealership who change my oil.


Here's a before and after pic. Just curious if anyone else who bought a catback with a reducer installed has considered having this done?
