it's prolly when the stock bov starts to leak and all that air goes out into the atmosphere and you start drowning yer plugs. i wouldn't recommend running vta with something that leaks so easily. but you'd just have to take that tube off, that's all. get a type s from rre and try that setup, it seals pretty well... and releases pretty well too because it's pnuematically assisted.

hks eids problems

I have a 2005 evo 8 rs with aem short ram intake and greddy type s bov.
I am running it VTA. So i went and got a hks Electronic Idle Stabalizer. I have every thing hooked up correct. But when i plug up the eids and crankt he car the service engine light comes on. But if i unplug the eids and plug up the loop and unhook the battery to reset the ecu the light goes off. it only comes on when i hook up the eids does anyone elses do that is it normal. Thanks Jared
