ok here it is guys first i'll list my mods and then the problem im having

K&N Intake
Works throttel body
Works cams
Works 93 P2 flash
Stock blow off valve venting right now (im gonna put my blitz on tomorrow)
3 inch turbo back exhaust
i have other mods but these are the only that will effect the idle.

ok i installed the HKS EIDS tonight and so far no stalls at all on the stocker BOV VTA. but when you slow down or come to a stop it only idles at 1200 RPM after awhile it will go down but it takes atleast 10 seconds.
I know this is a new product to us evo owners but im hoping someone has some experience thanks.

 

try resetting ure battery....leave the power of for an hour then try it

 

You might try to slightly adjust the screw on back, but what the EIDS does is makes your RPM's drop at a much slower pace. Everything soulnd like its ok tho. Mine is like that.

 

ok i wasnt sure if thats was correct or not ive never really played with one of these befor so ill try to rest the ecu in the morning but if this is the way its suppose to be is it ok to idle that high? also did you turn the screw on the back? if so how much? i tryed turning if but it seemed to get worse i have it about at a little under a quarter of a turn and so far so good. no stalls with the ac on and low rpm hard turns not even a putter.

i guess my main question is it ok to idle this high and does your idle down and then back up

 

ya its ok, but after a couple seconds the RPM's should go down.

Yup, I run mine in the middle, but I think it might be too high, just haven't been able to tune it since i'm waiting for my clutch get installed

 

ok here it is guys. the hks eids works great i mean great it takes about a hour of driving and now its perfect i have no problems at all now i think it just takes a few runs so the ecu gets programed. i put my blitz bov on today and ive had no problems what so ever. install is extremly easy it took about 10 minutes.

i have mine set almost all the the way turned down i only have it up a few notches. i have a few few minor mods as well. im not sure on the price ill give it to you tomorrow. later guys

 

i have a question for you guys.... how do you guys make an evo vent to air with the stock bov? also, i tried to vent the air with my stocker on and the eids intalled and i had problems with stalling around 5k rpm. whats up with that.. can anyone give me some info please?.....
