Excellent to see a vendor on here, willing to help a customer who has unfortunately decided to air his complaints on here before calling said vendor for help. He even did it in a professional manner with no apparent sour grapes about such a public complaint. Sure raised Borla's stock in my market.

David, what type of warranty does your coating have? I'm sure it's not million mile, but bet it's something fair like 1-2 years. Please advise.

I'm glad that Borla responded to this as well. It sounds as though it really is a good header and it sure is nice that they stand behind their product.

I'm also glad he stepped up and said something... I've been working horried shifts at work lately so I haven't had the time to call yet (14 hour night shifts drain you quite a bit). I will be contacting borla soon. Thanks for posting something David.

Well you guys wont believe this but Borla called me today and scheduled a UPS pick up of the old header and will then take a look at it to see if it is to be warrantied... Now if that isn't CUSTOMER SERVICE HELL if I know what it is then. Never in my entire life have I received such wonderful service from a company...

That seriously impresses me!

I really don't know what else to say about it but I'm certianly pleased. So lets hope it was just a fluke on that one header because if they have customer service like that then I'm sure they have good quality control as well.

I feel like writing a damn letter now to say thanks for the customer service, jeez.. hehe

Maybe you should have contacted them first before posting here. You could have saved time and got this problem resolved quicker.

Any news? I am seriously considering Borla's cat-back system for my VIII. I like the look of the end pipe.

Wow, now that's customer service! Some of our vendors on here could sure use some lessons from Borla! Props to Borla. Wish the orginal poster would come on here and update us and Borla, they deserve that much.
