Looking at pictures from another post, the Evo motor mounts are pretty much solid. There's no place to squirt in any Window Weld or to install a poly insert. Maybe I'm wrong.

Here's the post with pics of the stock mounts.

The prothane kit I got for my DSM required you to press out the old mounts and press in the polyurethane pieces. Some people actually burn the old rubber out if they don't have a press. The true inserts only went on the roll stoppers by the transmission. That seems like the preferable option to me because it's neat and tidy, and you end up with solid polyurethane.

I looked on Z1 auto and couldn't find it. Do you know what category it's under?

Ah I see. I have no idea what those do, but I doubt they can do the same thing as solid polyurethane motor mounts. The polys are so solid, your whole car shakes from the motor

it should keep the motor from rocking, (as bad) coming on and off throttle. might be a better plan than solid motor mounts.

Yeah they should be better than nothing. My best guestimate is that it would act much the same as polyurethane inserts for the roll stopper mounts. However, I don't think it could possibly have as much beef as the actual motor mount replacements.

No those will be as stong as a mount. A friends drag car had a few. You just gotta have a solid place to mount them.
