guys today my EVO started to make wierd clutch noises... it seems like when i release the clutch pedal and engage the clutch i hear this metal to metal "klang" noise! It only happens when i engage the clutch to the flywheel... while in neutral and pressing the clutch pedal numerous times it DOESNT make any noises... anyone think it could be related to the throw out bearing?

mine did the same thang but the clutch went out already at 21,000.. but ACT clutch is bein installed..

 

so after you put a new clutch in the noise was gone?

 

my car still in da shop haha waitin.. but ill tell you if it went good or not man

 

My clutch does it sometimes when im in lower speeds. I have a ACT 2100.. it hasnt seemed to be the root of any problems thus far.

 

my clutch used to make a klang/metallic thumping noise whenever i changed gears at the catch point between clutch/accel... it went away after i got rims though, so i ono

 

My car still makes that same noise, I was worried at first but then I just got use to it. Now I have friends that ask me what is wrong with my car when they first hear it but I don't seem to hear it anymore. The Evo makes a lot of noises, it just takes a while to get use to them.
I don't think anything is wrong, I just think it is another one of the many noises certain Evos make.
BTW: I only have 8,000 miles on my car but everything seems to be fine.
