oil/water/ext temp ... fuel/oil pressure?

Any of you guys changing to larger radiator and adding second oil cooler?

My car runs at about 105-115 celcius (239F) sometimes when driving hard. Water temp gets up to around 105 (221F) celius.

What excactly are the safe running oil/watertemperatures for this car?

Any idea for the oil/fuel/ pressure and ext. temp?

Thanks

This topic has been covered many times. Perhaps the mods would like to sticky it.

In the tropics, normal street driving should be arond 90 degress C, hard driving will drive it up to 110 degrees. Very hard driving on a roadcourse should see close to 130 degrees C. From what I researched hitting 130 degrees C is OK for a car that's properly maintained. One way to lower oil temp is install a water spray injector on the oil cooler, I believe Apexi sells a kit for it. A cheaper way may be to install an oil thermostat, I believe Tomei and HKS has those. Both methods are proven to be effective if you wish to lower your oil temps.

Water temp should not exceed 100 degrees. Check your coolant.

Fuel pressure is dependent on boost. This topic has been covered elsewhere.... basically it will be 1:1 i.e. if you are boosting 1.5 bar then your fuel pressure should be 4.5 bar.

Oil pressure will vary due to the viscosity of oil used, oil temp, oil lines etc.... anywhere from 1.0-1.3 bar at idle to 8.0 bar at WOT under load.

Thanks. May be someone can refer me to the other links.

I do live in the tropics. All fluids just replaced... water temp regulariy exceeds 100C.

Guess the US versions don't have the intercooler water squirters stock. Mine has this function. when i found out about it, i was really impressed... its in the middle next to the hand brake. has auto and manual funcitons. Not sure how effective it actually is tho.

hmmm when driving hard in DEATH VALLEY in 116*F weather in California I did not overheat. I didn't exceed 100*C for Water Temp. either - I have temperature gauges for both water and oil. I did use the intercooler water spray frequently and turned the heater on to cool the engine down. These precautions can you out.
