I Need Help removing Throw-out bearing

I have done everything thing it says to remove that little bastard and it is still not comming out. i am tempted to just beat it with a large crowbar. it there anything that i am not doing? i even practiced on the new one. i am pulling the fork to the drivers side and inserting the flat tip screwdriver in between the lock collar and the TOB. and trying to twist it but it feels like i am forcing it.
