Are you using 87 octane gas?

Speed of shifts, shift points

Work on launching the car, preferably 4K to 5K consistently.

You need some practice. I think you can benefit from using opportunities to find a empty lot an try launching in it. I had two years of practice with AWD and am now consitent.

Not saying this is the reason for your problems, but with your list of mods, you should have a regulator to enable you to control the fuel pressure.

I agree with 3000, just didn't want to say it. Could be a combo between tuning the car and learning how to launch it. Just keep working at it, the only thing we were born knowing how to do was crap ourselves, pee, and cry for food...

good luck sorting it out.

wow, i didn't know he was that popular... i went ahead and cleared my E-Manage and def notice the extra fuel... i'm gonna leave it like it is until i get it tuned.. it feels like i'm launching the car right and i've been around the drag strip quite a bit...

theres nothing wrong with ur car.....60ft times of 2.0 in an AWD car is kinda sub par....you should be able to hit 1.70 consistently....every tenth of a second u shave off ur 60ft time is like i think .2 seconds off your time for the quarter....(cant remember exactly, i know its either .2 or more though.)
so if u run 1.7 60 ft time ur time would have been like 12.9....
now if u ran 12.9's maybe u wouldnt be thinking theres a problem with the car, right?

if my car was running 12.9s, i would still dyno tune it because i'm still curious to see how much hp i have and how i could possibly increase it by a dyno tune

lack of tuning seems to be your culprit

I would try subscribing to the Yahoogroups list for the E Manage...there are some very competant users there, and I am sure they can help point you to someone in your area who can properly tune it for you

I'm not a tech but I guess that you should give a try to:
Put stock plugs back and see
Maybe the 255l walbro is too much for you
I don't know about magnecor wires, but when I put MSD SCW in my LT1 my car ran like a sht.
For sure you need to tune your car.

I would bet that the Walbro is over-running the stock fuel pressure regulator. This will throw your fuel trims off inside the ECU. With a big fuel pump like that, you really need a fuel pressure gauge to monitor what's going on. With an adjustable FPR, you'll be able to dial your fuel pressure back to stock to get your car to run right. Like Bolsen mentioned earlier, tuning is everything.

i have a Fuel Pressure Gauge, and at idle it's right at 2.5-2.75 bar... it goes pretty high once i put a load and get into boost... i'll get exact measurements later...

anyone have a FPR in stock?

edit: Fuel PSI gets up to 4.75 bar under full boost

in the 11.0 range yes, but you also need to be looking at ignition timing via the logger to ensure your car is advancing all it should and not dinging it downward uncessarily due to knock

your fuel pressure is fine at idle...telling me the pump is not overtaxing the regulator. However, based on what you are saying, you are running roughly 27 psi of boost?
