Hmm - I'll ask the obvious because I haven't seen it asked yet. Have you checked all your engine related fuses? Both the under-hood and the ones behind the coin box?

hey i'm having the same problem and after scanning the ECU i found out i have a faulty crank angle sensor. when this fails, the ecu shuts down the ignition which is what happened to me and it sounds like the same thing happened to you. I posted a thread about it today as well. The only thing is, people posted pics of the CAM angle sensor when i meant CRANK angle sensor, and teh crank one is a ***** to get to. The cam angle sensor is located on the front of your block.

check it out, it might be that sensor

Yeah.. It could be either.. I posted it in another thread, but either sensor failing would likely result in a no-start condition.. a problem with the MAF sensor (Baro sensor for example) would result in the car "kicking over" but not running.. but bad MAF output frequency might result in a no-start also especially if the frequency is 0..

If you have a turbo timer, check that out. There might be a short on the harness for the timer. If possible, remove the timer.

Just a thought but your timing could be off. Hope your timing belt didn't jump a gear.
