Cam Gear settings with HKS 264's

This past weekend I dyno'ed my car all day saturday at Knowledge Performance in ATL. I recently added HKS 264/264 combo cams, and some other goodies. Alex from Eurospeed and I tried about 6 or 8 different setting from +2 to -4 on each cam gear. The setting that we found to be the best was -3 IN and -2 EX. This is where we found the best combo of top end power, without the loss of bottom end hp and torque. Just my 2 cents for those who were wondering.

I used the new 5 bolt AEM cam gears for the EVO. Also all of my tests were done on 93 octane N. Carolina pump gas. The temp was about 87 degrees and humidity was 20-30 percent. Compared to 0 IN 0 EX we picked up about 6 whp with the -3 IN -2 EX settings. All in all I was pleased.

Since using the cam settings, have you gotten any P0300 codes?

When I dyno'd my car with -3in/ -1.5 exh, right after using that setting and slapping on the Xede, I got the misfire code. (I've never had that come up before)
