i have just installed a cat-back exhaust to me new evo 8, i have a apexi boost controller and a greddy recirculating blowoff valve and when i raise the boost to 20 and step on it the stock intake pipe to the throttle body pops out..is it that there too much pressure in that area and i need a better blow off valve?

 

I had the same problem, I just installed 2 clamps at the throttle body. A better blow-off valve won't help anything.

 

Its possible that your building too much pressure and its not blowing off correctly.. but like the previous post said, try two clamps, it may just be slipping off..

FWIW you'd get compressor surge if the BOV wasn't venting correctly when you got off the throttle.. If its popping off when you get off the throttle, then that could be the problem
