Hey do you know how many decibals the Buschur turboback puts out (with test pipe and no magnoflow and then with the magnaflow but still no cat)? I don't want to get a ticket...

We offer three different systems now, from mild to wild in the noise department. Our system with the Magnaflow is very mellow, very few if any complaints on noise with that one, especially with a high flow cat. Then we have the BR lightweight muffler, louder than the Magnaflow, too loud for some people. IF LOUD is what you want then get our 3" system with the muffler delete pipe, it is $80 less with it and it is LOUD.

There are a lot of Buschur exhausts in my area...IMO they don't seem to be as loud as the Megan..they have a different sound..the Megan has a deep rumble/burble to it..can't explain the Buschur

Buy the 3In Buschur, get the 3inch muffler delete option and no catalytic convertor.

Sorry... I can come close to that setup: I have the Buschur w/hi-flow cat, but with the BR muffler it was 97db @ 6000rpm. Loudest in the DCEvoClub at the time. I'm sure with the test pipe you can add several db to that. (I've since switched to the magnaflow muffler, which is SIGNIFICANTLY quieter.)

Definitely the loudest exhaust is the Buschur 3" turbo back with the cat and muffler delete.

SterlingEvo,
Thanks. I think I have to keep it under 95 db. Do you know if it is pretty easy to add the magnaflow onto the catback, or does it require welding or something? I may just order one from buschur.

Assuming the catback you mean is the Buschur, then yes, it's extremely easy. I removed the BR muffler and put on the Magnaflow on the street in front of my house in about 10 minutes with nothing more than a ratchet tool. It's a slip fit with a clamp, and then the back exhaust hanger (I have Kartboy hangers). No welding, nothing except a couple of bolts on the clamp Just make sure it's VERY tight.

And by the way, with the Magnaflow and Hi-flow cat, you'll be way under 95db... It sounds great IMO, and I don't notice the power being any different, but I haven't dynoed yet with my current setup.

I saw KZEVO's Greddy TI. It looks sweet and I'm pretty sure it has a baffle you can remove for track duty. With the baffle in, it conforms to the 95db law.....take it out and smile.

My girlfriend called it a fart-pipe.

Do custom headers that shoot up and through the air vent in the hood.
