Well, I carved it out of 6061 T-6 aluminum, with the steel hardware, which I am waiting on stainless steel fasteners, it weighs about 1.5 lbs.

Thanks Zeus, glad you like it. It took a while to make, but I figured what the heck, it will look sick when its done. I am also making a fuel cell support for the same car to match it, so that is my plan for the next few days, so stay tuned..........................

I can't believe that isn't CNC. I've worked on mills on laths before and the precision on the piece you have is excellent. Depending on the price and for 1.5lbs where do i buy

With a CNC and your creativity you could design many pieces, mass produce them and make a lot of money

There are less and less real craftsmen out there. It is good to see some people who still can appreciate what it takes to actually make something really nice. I have the privilige of working with some of the finest metal shapers around and while I'm a pretty good fabricator, it's still amazing to watch these guys roll a fender out of flat steel like it is second nature.

That is one of the nicest pieces of engine jewelery I've seen. If you plan on making count me in on a group buy.
