actually that is funny. so, did your original axles work with the RS transfer case?

I can't see there being a issue with ABS and a limited slip diff. And if there is just pull the fuse. The guys that rally Subarus use this extention with a on off witch for ABS.

That is the proper part number according to CAPS's latest release. Last time I had the dealer look the part up (for a price check) their system did not have the part listed yet. It's still very new. Unless something changes in the next month, that will be the part number.

ColinL: Did I say they did? I didn't attempt to fit them, but the part numbers indicate it would fit. Anything else superguru?

Hey,
Still, no one knows for sure if the RS LSD will work with the abs or not?

I'd like to know this also. Can anyone confirm or deny the compatibility of the RS front diff with the '03/'04 Evo?

Isn't a evo 5 front lsd a helical type aswell? If it is, the 04 rs front lsd should work in a 03. There is a guy on here with a evo 5 front lsd with ABS on his 03 and he said it work with no issues.

Why do the rs when this is coming soon?

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ghlight=quaife

1) Quaife has lifetime warranty- including racing vs. RS in a non RS evo= no warranty....

2) Cost- the Quaife will list at $1345 vs. having to buy a whole transfercase = over a grand more expensive for a part.

Shiv put new limited slips in their shop car front and back. The ABS worked just fine in the One Lap race and ever sence.

The RS front lsd does fight with the abs system causing more frequent occurances of "ice" mode.
