Sloppy Driveline and really bad de accel noise..... Help?!?!?

Since i got my car back for the clutch i seem to have quite a bit of driveline noise. I have a De-accel noise an Accel Noise which is a high pitched whine.... The de-accel noise is almost like the TOB noise that has been discussed but 5 times worse.... and the accel noise is a high pitch whine around 5000-6000 RPM Its not the typical noise associated with a bad transfer case. Really i dont know wtf it is.... I have some video's of it but the Quality sucks ill upload them shortly......

Mine does the same thing, I put in an Exedy twindisk, and the paper that came with it said that it would transmit more engine noise through the drivetrain than stock.

o ic is it a kinda a repeating growl......? Also do u have driveline slop like when you put it in reverse and start to accel it makes a small clunk.... its not the act of putting it in gear that does it just when i start to accel.....

It's not the TOB, it's when the clutch is disengaged the disks rattle, or at least that's what I think it is. I put a new TOB when I was in there, and it did it since I first started 'er up, so I assume it's the disks hitting.

as far as the TOB not being the problem it only does it when the clutch is engauged... it goes away right away as soon as i press the clutch in and the tob gets a load on it... also im running a single disc clutch.... with the stock flywheel....... running the RRE no name clutch. I love the clutch except all the new loud *** noises.... Im glad to hear im not the only person with the reverse noise...

Yep I get that rattle also ( sounds like 2 CD spining and rubbing with each other when clutch is Disengaged ) , and when the clutch is engaged the TOB sounds like a poo poo ( put a new one in and it done it from day 1 also )

Is the noise sort of like a siren and wheel speed dependant?

Yea!!!! Misery loves company. I AM NOT ALONE!!!!!! I have all the same symptoms with my Cusco twin disk. It was installed professionally but I get loud *** decel noise and the super high pitched accel noice in first at midrange rpms (like a siren). On the good side, my car runs like a bat out of hell and shifts with neck-snapping precision.

Funny thing is, I figured the decel noise was not clutch related. Maybe it is the lightweight flywheel which is unable to damp engine rattles etc???

I have just recently put in the Ralliart Twin Plate clutch and I am now also gettin the same noises. I must say everything is running a lot better now but found that I have to match the revs more with appropriate speed before I engage the clutch to avoid a clunk type noise when letting the clutch out. Ralliart mechanic said it is due to the higher clamping pressure that the standard clutch and thus less slip. Not sure if this helps.

what about at idle? when i press down my clutch the whining noise goes away. It sounds like the same idle noise that comes when decel in 3rd or 4th. My car has stock clutch with very little mods

I have the same clutch and same problem, I just got it installed with about 40 miles on it and in 5th gear ONLY ON DECELLERATION i get a loud *** grinding noise, sounds like the TOB or chatter. Never did that before this new clutch, SUCKS!
