High flow cat...$50.00??

I don't think this is a repost but what do you think of this piece from EB Stores on Ebay? Is it worth it? I usually believe that "you get what you pay for" but it is just a cat...well I guess I shouldn't say "just". Let me know what you think.

it will flow more for sure but you know that you won't pass emissions right? I bought a 3 inch cat from ebay also, not high flow and it works great.

I am not worried about emissions right now, but I am worried about performance/build quality/sound.

Ah hell no. Would not buy any 30 dollar exhaust part. I bet it does not fit either. I would rather get a test pipe made for the same money in that case. A real cat converter would cost much more. You going to have cells with that too. Where is the o2 sensor fitting? It is just a test pipe I bet. Read what it says. Sounds like a Honda add that was changed to say it is for evos. Will not pass smog. They say off road use only as well.

It is just a test pipe. Way too small to be a cat. Also looks like they can claim the 3" because it's 3" in the middle but tapers at both ends.

Its the Megan Racing cat.
I'm planning to get one but i'm hoping it is really a resonator, and not a cat. If its really a cat I think I might gutt out the cat screens.

It says:The Megan Racing Hi Flow Catalytic Converter, also called a test Pipe or Resonator.
I thought cats, test pipe, and resonators are totally different things. It can't be a test pipe b/c they are just pipes. So its either a resonator or a cat.

read it. its says: 3" inlet, 3" outlet

This is true because this cat isn't as effecient as stock, but they sell kits to prevent this. It only cost me 2 dollars to make an extendor for my O2 sensor.

i have the megan racing exhaust on my car and i love it!!

although, i have a helix 3 in hiflow cat, but the megan racing dp and catback. sounds very good and was cheap!!

i started to get those cels, but did that little fix with the modified sparkplug antifoul adapters and it worked great!!

plokivos is this what ur talking about-- a cel due to cat inefficiency???

I don't see what the big deal about paying name brand exhaust for $1000+?

it's just a bent pipe. You could get a galvanized aluminum exhaust for 1/9th of that price and still work the same. and it wont rust. it's not like anyone's gonna look under your car when you're driving.

Unless you have a show car.

I don't even show a 400 on my list of DTC trouble codes.

DTC P0420: Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold

That is the one that I always got.
