Cams, richen or lean?

Well My car at idle has been leaning itself and richining itself out at idle trying to find a stoich mixture, but seems impossible with it to do with the 272's in. When it adds fuel the idle goes up, then it takes away fuel and the car goes off my narrowband a/f gauge and idle gets low , and it does this back and forth the whole time at idle. Well my uncle said when he was behind me on the way home from work yesterday when i went WOT my car seemed to be running more rich than before as well. I was just wondering but I figured cams would actually lean the car out alittle at WOT??? I was telling him that I guess it could be because after installing the cams I zero'd out the SAFCII because of not knowing my a/f ratio's.

Stock ECU's won't be able to perfectly idle the cams; thus the wandering A/F and idle, etc. Regarding the rich at full song, 272's may cause you to lose some airflow down low and gain up top, but if you zeroed your AFC, you will, no doubt, be running rich. Just have it tuned.

My car ran a bit more rich on the top end with my 272's. I'd lean it out a little bit after 5000rpm's.
