Thanks Sfp And Buschur Racing

Hey everyone. I haven't posted here much because I am new to DSM and have only had my EVO for a month. But, I have been hard at work trying to find more HP. I decided to go with the Buschur set up because I like his approach and he seems to be quite dedicated. Anyways, I have the entire stage four and AEM ems. I tried the apexi, and forget it, it sucks. Drivability was zero. Frank Smith at SFP is not only a good friend, he is a great guy and an excellent tuner. We used the 272intake and 264exhaust HKS cams. With only an hour on the dyno and 17psi we managed 320whp and 310ft lbs of torque and the torque was at 3500 rpms. The car runs great with the ems and even though it was a chunk of money, it was well worth it. Hope this helps some people with their quest for more hp.

You should be making closer to 360AWHP. What kind of dyno did you use? And which Bushur parts do you have?

You could run 20 PSI quite safely with EMS and the buschur fuel components. Plus, it would pick you up a good 30-40 horse.

Not at 17psi. Those are good numbers for the boost.

1 psi = 7 hp. You could make more. Not saying it's bad by any means! More than I put down....

Thanks everyone I will definitely be turning the boost up, I just ran out of dyno time. I can't afford any mistakes and feel the clutch will suffer if I get too aggressive. I took it to the track tonight and ran 12.4@108 It was on 17psi and the temp outside was 81 and 91% humidity. I feel good about the runs and know it can go much quicker with 21psi and a clutch to handle it. I won every run except for one with a new supercharged Cobra that went 11.6@122

Still on stock clutch? I'd say you could be in 11's (just a guess) with a twin plate and a nice launch maybe some race gas and higher boost
