stock air filter - new vs 15,000 miles

Just for kicks, I'm about to hit 15,000 miles on my car, so I did the maintenance today. Here's what the air filter looks like new and with 15,000 miles on it, both front and back, mainly highway.

If you stick with the stock airbox, the Ralliart filter is reusable and appears to be very high quality. Also, it comes with an aluminum ralliart baffle to smooth airflow... very trick though unfortunately you can't see it without opening the airbox.

You showed a picture of a dirty filter.. I was just suggesting that if you want to stay with the stock airbox (plastic box that holds the filter), you can improve airflow and avoid replacing the filter if you get the ralliart panel filter.

Ah, ok. Well, I went with the stock filter just cuz it was only $14 something. If I modify the intake, I'll go all out with it, like Buschur Racing's filter kit.
