hey all

i don't have a clue as to what has happened to my car overnight, but anyways, i was cruising home tonight, when suddenly my engine turned off as i was shifting into 2nd. i try to turn the car on, put it into 1st gear, then drive, but i can't seem to go above 2rpm's. then as soon as i clutch in, the car turns off.

in a standing still position, i can't even shift into 2nd nor 4th. does anyone know what my problem could be? would this be gearbox related, clutch related, or turbo related (as i drive alot of black smoke is coming out). also, i can't go above 15-20km/h.

oh btw, its an evo 3

 

umm.....just a full 3" exhaust, blitz pod filter, and gfb manual boost controller set at 0.9 bar. these mods have been in the car for about 4-5 months now, and hasn't been any trouble to the car.

 

Bad MAF?

 

Check intercooler piping for leaks, bad clamps etc, or a poped off vacum line.

would that have anything to do with the gears not going into 2ndand 4th? and causing the car to stall?

 

problems fixed.

it was the pipe that goes from my throttle body down to my cooler piping.
it must've poped out dam.
