TC oil drain question?

I changed the Transfer case and measured how much came out. about 300ml, has anybody else noticed this? I pumped the fresh 90LSD oil in and it started to spill back out after 300ml. The transfer case must have areas in it that do not let all of the oil out. I will change it again at my next oil change to get more out.

Is there a better way to extract more oil out?

Just let it drain until it stops and then fill it up until it starts to come out the fill plug.

Make sure the car is level when draining. There will always be a little oil left behind. Don't sweat it. You took out the majority of it.

I know with some auto trannys, it's recommended to drain and refill, then drive it, then do it again.
